When does billing start?
Stripe shows the exact amount due today and the recurring renewal price before you subscribe. PropertyNotes activates paid access only after the completed checkout is verified.
Can I change my mind?
Yes. Agency billing admins can manage payment details, invoices, plan changes when available, and end-of-period cancellation through secure Stripe billing.
What happens after cancellation?
Access continues through the paid billing period. Your documents are not held back, and you can export agency data from The Book before access ends.
Will usage create surprise charges?
No. Automatic overage charging is off. Any future extra capacity requires clear terms and explicit approval before a charge.
How do seats and extra capacity work?
Every active or pending teammate uses one named seat in the subscribing agency. A seat shares that agency’s Book and does not create a separate agency entitlement. Extra capacity is planned at $20 per 100 additional monitoring slots and $0.50 per additional brief—with explicit approval before any charge. Source availability varies by jurisdiction.
What does property monitoring include?
A monitoring slot is a property you can enroll, not a daily check. Automatic checks require opt-in and available capacity. Coverage and update delays vary by source and jurisdiction; daily checks of every enrolled property and real-time permit updates are not guaranteed.
